Center for Instructional Technology

The Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) helps to integrate technology into teaching and learning at Tallahassee Community College.

CIT's mission is to provide leadership and creative support services for the successful integration of technologies into the teaching and learning environment. We strive to collaborate with faculty and other support service departments to ensure that students have a rewarding and successful experience at TCC.

To accomplish this mission we will engage in the following activities:

• Instructional technology training and skills development for faculty.
• Original design and production support services for the development of classroom presentations, instructional video, interactive courseware, etc.
• Coordination of distance education support functions
• Design, installation, and maintenance of classroom technology systems.
• Programming, operation, and production support for the educational access channel.
• Research and selection of new and appropriate technologies for instructional purposes.
